Worked in the fitness industry for over 17 years. BS in exercise physiology(completing a MS in exercise physiology) I did an athletic training intern with the Seattle Mariners and worked with the Seattle Seahawks during their summer camps. I currently hold CSCS and NASM certifications. My passion has always been to simply help people accomplish things they never thought they could. Opening FitEdge and partnering with the number of medical professionals we have is helping my team and I affect amazing change in our community.

I’ve been personal training for over 10 years and loving every minute. I’m super excited to be training now at FitEdge Training Center. It feels great to know that FitEdge has the same values and dreams to affect positive change into peoples lives! I’m definitely a family man and am thrilled to announce the birth of our new baby girl, Willow! I love to train a variety of clients. I specialize in weight loss, injury prevention and injury maintenance with corrective exercises, and helping people feel better by listening and helping work through challenges. I’ve trained young and old clients alike. Its extremely rewarding for me to be a part of my clients success!

JACQUE FREUDENTHAL

I hold both the ACE and NASM certifications.  I am passionate about fitness and have tremendous experience and expertise in a wide variety of fitness formats such as TRX, spinning, boot camp, yoga, and pilates. I model living happy and healthy and hopes this motivates clients to create a positive lifestyle. I am compassionate and help my clients set realistic goals. Through hard work and accountability, my clients develop the tools to be successful. I am also a college math professor.  When I’m not teaching math, training a client, or teaching group fitness, I am with the three most important men in my life: my husband and two teenage boys.

LYNN LEONARD

Yoga Coach

I have been instructing group fitness for 30 years covering many fitness formats over that time, with a current focus on yoga as the primary method to fitness for any age participant. Yoga speaks to me as no other format has, giving me balance not only of body and mind, but in life.  My personal yoga practice continues to evolve just as it does for my students.  There is no end to yoga, just a beginning. I am married to my husband Wayne and mom to two adult daughters, Sean and Amy.  In my spare time I love to cook, knit and play with Liberty, the family golden retriever.

PAULA STILES

Physical Therapist

I have 15 years’ experience as an outpatient physical therapist with an Orthopedic Specialist Certification through the American Physical Therapy Association that only about 5% of physical therapists earn. I originally graduated with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy but have since earned a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. I enjoy working with anyone that has a goal. The goal may be to have less pain with daily activities or it may be to run a marathon, if you want to do it. I want to help! I have worked with all ages and performance levels including professional triathletes, professional baseball and football players, along with many college athletes.

My practice is very different from most physical therapy offices. First you will only see me for the appointment. You will have my undivided attention for the entire visit. I will perform a thorough evaluation of what is causing your pain or dysfunction. Next, I will use manual therapy to correct any osteokinematic dysfunctions and soft tissue restrictions you may have. Finally, I will give you a home exercise program that will be the majority of your therapy saving you time and money. I see my clients as infrequently as I can and still help you reach your goals. Another aspect that is different is you have direct access to me through email, phone calls, or texting. It is better to take care of an issue immediately. Many of my clients have tried therapy in the past and either been unsuccessful or felt like it took a lot of time. Now my clients says things like, “ I can’t believe it is better already”.

COURTNEY STEWART

I graduated with a Health and Fitness Technician degree from the Spokane Falls Community College. I also am NSCA certified. I grew up playing 16 years of competitive soccer. Health and fitness has been my biggest passion, and is what I like to call my addiction. My motivation and love for this career make it easy to express to others. What I love most about this job is making personable relationships with each and every client and making lifestyle changes that fit their day to day.

HOLLI MATTHEW

I have 8 years of personal training experience.  BS in Exercise Physiology from Eastern Washington University. I have worked with numerous types of clients, from general weight loss and fitness to clients who want to focus on balance and core.  I like working from the rehabilitation perspective and working on assessments of each client to monitor their progress.  I plan on studying and becoming certified in Nutrition; 80% of your weight loss is dependent upon how you fuel your body.  I love building relationships and providing a shoulder to lean on.  On a personal level, I am a competitor.  I currently compete in NPC fitness competitions as well as 5k fun runs.  I have also been a college athlete competing in track and field. Lastly, I am all about family I have a wonderful husband and two beautiful daughters; Lauren and Aubrey.  When I am not here at the gym I am running them around to their sports and school activities.

BRITTNEY MOTZKUS

I am a Certified Personal Trainer through ACSM with a degree in ESS from the University of Utah. I love what I do. My passion for fitness started young. Growing up I was always involved in team sports & with the Rocky Mountains as my back yard I love everything active and outdoors. I believe in the importance of functional training to live a rich and full life. I believe we must take care of ourselves and our bodies before we can take care and help others, which is why our health & fitness is so important! Instilling confidence and appreciation for our bodies is my goal with each client. I have trained a wide range of people in private and small group settings from 15 years old to 90. From training weight loss to weight gain, and have worked especially with moms pre & postnatal. I will be with you each step of the way and help you create long lasting healthy habits and results. I am also a certified Circuit, TRX and Spin instructor and am excited to be teaching a TRX Fusion class at Fit Edge!
